A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, to 4 p.m. Thursday, February 13, for Pocahontas and Randolph counties.
Snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches is expected, with up to a foot possible along the eastern ridges.
Snow will overspread the area early this evening, with the heaviest snow falling after midnight. The snow will wind down by midday Thursday.
