Willie Franklin Wilfong, age 71, of Rocky Mount, Virginia, formerly of Marlinton, died Friday, January 3, 2020, at Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.
Born April 8, 1948, at Marlinton, he was a son of the late Willie Amon and Lurie McCoy Wilfong.
Willie was a farmhand.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Meador, of Rocky Mount, Virginia, with whom he made his home; and a brother, Norman Wilfong.
Funeral service will be held Friday, January 17, at noon at VanReenen Funeral Home in Marlinton with Pastor David Merryman officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until time of service.
