William Lawrence Gilbert departed this world Thursday, October 3, 2024.
Born June 21, 1946, in Mabscott, he was a son of the late Hollie and Russia Gilbert.
William served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the IBEW local #466 for more than 50 years. He loved the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time sitting in his gazebo. His presence will be missed by many – our daddy didn’t know a stranger.
Left to carry on his name is his daughter, Juliette Gilbert; son, William Gilbert, and wife, January; grandchildren, Khalea, Gabrielle, Brooklyn and Bella; five sisters; and special friends who became family, Aaron and Melissa Nelson.
You will live forever in our hearts because in our hearts you’re still alive. We love you more.
There will be no services, as per dad’s wishes.
