William Jacob “Billy” Blake, 82, of Green Bank, died Saturday, April 8, 2023, at White Sulphur Springs Nursing Home.
Born April 1, 1941, at Cass, he was a son of the late Richard and Eula Stimeling Blake.
Billy was a retired logger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Bennett; brothers, Bobby Blake, Granville Blake, Richard Blake, Edward Blake and Guy Stimeling.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Propst; sons, David Allen Blake and Billy Blake; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Ruckman Cemetery, near Mill Point, with Pastor Tim Scott officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by VanReenen Funeral Home.
