Twila Smallridge Wolfingbarger, age 86, known as “Maw Maw, “Twiggy” and “Maw Maw T,” of Campbells Creek, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Hubbard Hospice House. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Twila was a 1949 graduate of Marlinton High School. She was a Christian and a member of Poca Fork Baptist Church. She was the West Virginia Queen of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) of 1968 and a member of Salina Chapter #81 of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Effie Bartlett and Parley J. Smallridge; her husband of 68 years, Clyde Wolfingbarger; a son, Herman L. Wolfingbarger; four brothers; and five sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Jim Wolfingbarger, and wife, Drema, of Malden, and Dale Wolfingbarger, and wife, Debi, of Campbells Creek; a daughter, Valerie Becker, and husband, Joe, of Sissonville; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
