A manhunt that began in Augusta County, Virginia, Wednesday, April 22, ended Monday night on Spruce Flats Road in Buckeye.
Larry Allen Turner, 41, who lists his address as Staunton, Virginia, was transported to the Southern Regional Jail following his arrest and was arraigned by video conference Tuesday morning before Pocahontas County Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley.
He is charged in Pocahontas County with the felonies:
• entry of a building other than a dwelling, grand larceny, person prohibited from possessing firearms and wanton endangerment involving a firearm.
Cash bond was set at $200,000.
The circuit judge may set an additional bond in the matter.
Turner was arraigned before Magistrate Broce-Kelley on the following charges from Greenbrier County:
• two counts entry of a building other than a dwelling; grand larceny; petit larceny and destruction of property.
Cash bond was set at $100,000.
Turner, who was a Fugitive from Justice, was arraigned before Magistrate Broce-Kelley on the following charges from Augusta County, Virginia:
• firearms possession, by person convicted of a violent felony; ammunition possession by a person convicted of a violent felony; a capias issued for three counts entering a structure with intent to commit larceny; two counts grand larceny; two counts obtaining money by false pretenses; one pending count, violation of probation.
Turner is also considered a person of interest in a homicide investigation in West Virginia.
