Thomas Edgar “Tom” Sharp, age 79, of East Dailey, passed from this life Friday, April 24, 2020, at Davis Medical Center in Elkins.
Born Friday, July 26, 1940, in Marlinton, he was a son of the late Dolpha Yeager Sharp and Regena Sue Underwood Sharp Dumire.
In January 1969, in Warm Springs, Virginia, he married the former Connie Lee Broce, who survives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Lowell, Hubert and Dharl Sharp and Louise Carpenter.
In addition to his wife, those left to cherish his memory are two children, Sean Sharp, and wife, Angela, of Elkins, and Andrea Tonkin, and husband, Chris, of Buckhannon; a grandson, Cole Tonkin; and three siblings, Lunabelle Wilfong, Lewis Sharp, and wife, Janie, and Robert Y. Sharp, and wife, Ruth, all of Marlinton.
Per his request the body was cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
