The Division of Highways has announced the planned temporary closure of Pocahontas County Route 8, also known as Sheets Road, near Dunmore. The closure is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. Tuesday, September 4. The road will reopen Friday, September 7, at 7 p.m.
This closure will occur at milepost 0.75, approximately 0.75 miles north of West Virginia Route 92.
The closure is required for a drainage structure replacement.
The roadway will be closed to all traffic.
Motorists are advised to use an alternate route during this repair.
