Shirley Jean Ray, age 55, died Saturday, October 5, 2013, at McDowell Nursing Center in Gary.
Born September 28, 1958, in Marlinton, she was a daughter of Norma Rider Ray and the late Lewis C. Ray.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sisters, Helen Grace Lowe, of Marlinton, and Kimberly Ann Cassidy, of Bel Air, Maryland; and a niece and nephew.
Per her request, the body was cremated. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 2, 2 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor
