Samuel Isiac McAllister, II, age 36, of Cool Ridge, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017.
Born October 1, 1980, in Charleston, he was son of Samuel Isiac McAllister, of Princeton, and Carol Childers McAllister, of Hickory, North Carolina.
Samuel was a graduate of Shady Spring High School. He was owner and operator of Crete Construction Company.
He was a lifelong resident of Daniels and Cool Ridge. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, golfing and listening to bluegrass music. He was a highly regarded musician, who excelled at playing guitar.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory are his wife, April McAllister; three children, Isiac, Gracie Beth and Katie Mae; special companion, Max; two sisters, Sasha McAllister Cantley, and companion, Joe Kubin, of Daniels, and Jacklyn Rose McAllister, of Princeton; Lee McAllister, of Cool Ridge, and Adria McAllister; nephews, Trey McAllister, of Cool Ridge, Caleb Cantley and Garrett Centley, both of Daniels, and Abel Ward, of Shady Spring; and a brother –and sister-in-law, Daniel and Courtney Ward.
Funeral service was held September 9 at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Shady Spring with Brother Danny Winders officiating. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton.
