Roberta Gaylene Carpenter, age 58, of Marlinton, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015, at her home, following a sudden illness.
Born March 23, 1956, at Sutton, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Lillian F. Haynes Carpenter. Roberta was a homemaker and an animal lover.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son.
She is survived by four sisters, Carla Martens, and husband, Dan, of Ocala, Florida, Margie Haley, and husband, Mark, of Brimfield, Massachusetts, Kim Scott, and husband, Don, of Roseville, California, and Monica Martin, and husband, Scott, of Valencia, California; a brother, Jake Carpenter, and wife, Diane, of Gulfport, Mississippi; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Brenda Walters, of Hillsboro, for her friendship with Robin.
In keeping with her wishes, the body was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
