Huntersville Historical Traditions is pleased to announce that work has begun on the restoration of the “Old Clerk’s Office” in Huntersville. The building is the last remnant of the original Pocahontas County Courthouse, built in the 1840s. With the assistance of the Pocahontas County Commission, the West Virginia Department of Culture and History, representatives of our senatorial district and many local donations, HHT has been able to fund the historic restoration and looks forward to its completion this summer.
