VIEW FROM BUCKEYE Hill overlooking Swago Creek as it makes its way to the Greenbrier River. The American and Column Lumber Company of St. Albans, which was in operation from 1914 until May 1917, can be seen on the opposite side of the river in what was then the town of Buckeye. The area, today, offers easy access to the Greenbrier River Trail.
