Phyllis Jean Cunningham Sharp Roehs, 92, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Family Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wichita, Kansas.

Born August 7, 1932, in Mingo, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Rita Shreve Cunningham.

Phyllis lived in Marlinton, for many years where she worked at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital before moving to Davenport, Iowa, in the mid-1970s.

She continued her career in home health care for several years before moving to Wichita, Kansas, in 2008 to live closer to her son and family. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Roehs; sister, Marie Rucker; and half-brother, Ronald Cunningham.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa A. Daniels, of Cape Coral, Florida; son Michael L. Sharp (Gretchen), of Wichita, Kansas; niece Jacquelyn Bruce, of Canton, Ohio; grandchildren, David C. Pryor, of Dallas, Georgia, Gail M. Pryor, of Raleigh, North Carolina, Robert L. Sharp, of Wichita, Kansas, and Mathilda L. Mathias (Kyle), of Maize, Kansas; and great-grandson, Evan A. Anderson, of northern Virginia.

At her request her remains were cremated and will be returned to her birthplace of Mingo at a later date.
