Nina Lynn Morrison, 71, of Marlinton, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025, with her daughter by her side.
Born March 2, 1954, in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Charles Taylor and Wilda Taylor Ferrell.
Nina was graduate of Sissonville High School and was a cook for Nicholas County Board of Education. She later moved to Marlinton where she worked with her husband in his auction company. Following retirement, she cleaned for the Town of Marlinton and Appalachian Sport.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Don Morrison; son, Don E. Morrison II; and brothers, Ervin and Melvin Taylor.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Randall Russell; daughter-in-law, Cathy Runyon (Billy); grandchildren, Dustin Morrison, Michael Morrison, Haleena Hebb and Landon Hebb; great-grandchildren, Ezra Morrison, Blake McCarty and Ryker McCarty; adopted daughter, Kathy Cox; and adopted grandchildren, Kailey Mortensen and Alana Smith.
Funeral service was held Monday, August 18, 2025, at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Felton officiating.
Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.
