Meredith Williams, age 88, of Dunmore, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Pocahontas Center.
Born March 9, 1926, at Dunmore, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Florence Dever Lightner.
Meredith was a homemaker and was of the Presbyterian faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, June Williams; three brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Gary L. Williams, and wife, Deborah, of Monterey, Virginia; and grandchildren, Dustin Williams and Felicia Whiller.
Graveside service was April 25 at Green Hill Cemetery in Mill Gap, Virginia, with Rev. Melissa Litrel Hamon officiating. Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery.
