Mary Hazel Thomas, age 72, of Marlinton, died Friday, December 19, 2014, at Pocahontas Center.
Born December 12, 1942, at Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late Loyal Waugh, Sr., and Pearl Simmons Waugh.
Mary Hazel was a retired heel builder at Hanover Shoe Company and attended Campbelltown United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Asil Waugh, Loyal Waugh, Jr., and Kenneth Waugh; and a sister, Belinda Stein.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Clyde Thomas; two daughters, Donna Irene Fowler and Robin Marlene Walton, both of Hillsboro; two sons, Bill Walton and Dave Walton, both of Hillsboro; a step-son, Raymond Clyde Thomas, Jr., of Warren, Ohio; step-daughter, Shelia Barr, of Warren, Ohio; two brothers, Jimmy Waugh, of Arnett, and Charles Waugh, of Marlinton; four grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was December 21 at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Felton officiating. Interment was in Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton.
