So many things. So little time.
Programs, workshops, virtual meetings, opportunities or not. It’s all a game of checkers. You can be ready for the next move, but nothing can move forward until something else happens.
So, you know. The security fence had to come down at the Greenbrier Hill water tank for machines and materials to pass by as the construction of the Overlook Trail was in progress.
For reasons – too many to explain – the fence was down much longer than originally planned. Consequently, I opened up a Notice of Violation from the West Virginia Department of Health on the same morning the fence company showed up to start replacing the fence. Graffiti was on the tank (which needs painting anyway), but the top rails of the fence had already been stolen.
I asked the fence crew the value of those pieces for scrap. They estimated a very few dollars, and it will cost hundreds to replace.
These actions never cease to amaze me.
