The Town of Marlinton issued a boil water advisory on Tuesday, May 20, due to a power outage at the south water tank. Marlinton water customers in the Lakeview Addition and Smith Addition neighborhoods are advised to boil water for one minute before drinking or using in cooking. Crews are currently working to correct the problem. No estimate has been provided when the advisory will be lifted.
