Draegan N. Springer, 22, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty November 4 to charges of shooting/hunting from a motor vehicle and failure to attach a field tag to wildlife. Springer was assessed $402.96 in court costs and fines.
Thomas Walton, 41, of Marlinton, entered a guilty plea agreement November 15 on charges of simple assault and battery. Walton was sentenced to 48 hours jail and assessed $402.96 in court costs and fines.

Richard Lee Hefner, II, 44, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty November 20 to charges of operation without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription. Hefner was assessed $422.96 in court costs and fines.
Derek Lee McLaughlin, 45, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest November 7 to charges of operation of vehicle without evidence of registration, operation without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate, defective equipment and failure to maintain motor vehicle insurance. McLaughlin was assessed $955.92 in court costs and fines.
Alexander Ryan Smith, 22, of Monterey, Virginia, pleaded guilty November 20 to a charge of no seatbelt. Smith was assessed $25.56 in court costs and fines.
Avery McKendria Smith, 25, of Monterey, Virginia, pleaded guilty November 25 to a charge of no seatbelt. Smith was assessed $25.56 in court costs and fines.
Rickey Ivan Stalnaker, 52, of Bowden, pleaded guilty November 19 to charges of bait or feed wildlife on public land and damage trees on wildlife management area. Stalnaker was assessed $575.62 in court costs and fines.
Carlos A. Kanafany, 21, of Lewisburg, pleaded guilty November 25 to a charge of obstructing driver’s view. Kanafany was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.
Jason Paul Taylor, 50, of Valley Head, pleaded no contest November 25 to a charge of failure to attach a field tag to wildlife. Taylor was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.
In the case of Joseph Allen Teter, 23, of Marlinton, proceedings were deferred November 22 on a charge of battery. Teter was assessed $181.48 in court costs and fines.
Jamie Kerr, 44, of Green Bank, pleaded no contest November 21 to a charge of driving while license suspended or revoked. Kerr was assessed $281.48 in court costs and fines.
Madeline P. Pritt, 24, of Buckeye, pleaded no contest November 4 to a charge of failure to maintain motor vehicle insurance. Pritt was assessed $381.48 in court costs and fines.
