Pocahontas County sent two teams to Potomac State College in Keyser Saturday to compete in the State 4-H and FFA Horse Judging Competition.
In the Junior 4-H Division, Pocahontas County placed second and Kirsten Friel placed second individually.
In the FFA division, Ben Davis, a sophomore at Pocahontas High School and Secretary of Pocahontas County FFA, placed second individually, with the local FFA team placing 10th.
The 4-H team was coach-ed by Carissa Beard. The FFA team was coached by Susan Davis.
