Dear Editor:
I was a resident of the old Bank Building until of late. I had lived there for almost 12 years. Neal Kellsion was my landlord, and then Zach Chitum.
I lived amongst the people of Pocahontas County, and although I am originally from Ohio, I considered myself a proud West Virginian.
I just wanted to say thanks to all the people I got to know and to the friends I made – the people at the Pendleton Community Bank and the Town of Marlinton, to the residents and my co-workers at the Pocahontas Center, and to my poetic friends in Hillsboro.
And, I just wanted to say “goodbye.”
