Notice is hereby given that the following estate(s) have been opened for probate in the Pocahontas County Clerk’s Office at 900C Tenth Avenue, Marlinton, WV 24954-1333. Any person seeking to impeach or establish a will must make a complaint in accordance with the provisions of West Virginia Code 41-5-11 through 13. Any interested person objecting to the qualifications of the personal representative or the venue or jurisdiction of the court, shall file written notice of an objection with the County Commission through the Pocahontas County Clerk’s Office at the address listed above within 60 days after the date of the first publication or within 30 days of the service of the notice, whichever is later.
If an objection is not filed timely, the objection is forever barred. Any person interested in filing claims against an estate must file them in accordance with West Virginia Code 44-2 and 44-3A.
Settlement of the estate(s) of the following named decedent(s) will proceed without reference to a fiduciary commissioner unless within 60 days from the first publication of this notice a reference is requested by a party of interest or an unpaid creditor files a claim and good cause is shown to support reference to a fiduciary commissioner.

NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The Crooked Fork Salvage Sale is located within Pocahontas County, 10 miles North of Marlinton, in the headwaters of the Elk River.
The Forest Service will receive sealed bids by mail or courier service only.
Bid results will be publicly posted on the Monongahela National Forest Timber website as soon as practicable after bid opening.

There is an estimated volume of 301 CCF of Basswood sawtimber, 685 CCF of Black Cherry sawtimber, 779CCF of Maple (RM, SM) sawtimber, 56 CCF of Hardwood – Other (BI, BE, RS) sawtimber, and 81 CCF of Red and Black Oak sawtimber marked or otherwise designated for cutting.
The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

POCAHONTAS COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION NOTICE TO PERFORMANCE COMPANIES GENERAL INFORMATION AND REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR AN ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND HVAC SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
The Pocahontas County Board of Education is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the selection of an energy services company (ESCO) to implement an Energy Savings project. The proposals shall consist of qualifications, experience, financial proposal and staffing plan.
A copy of the complete RFP will be available for pick up at the Pocahontas County Board of Education Office at 404 Old Buckeye Road, Buckeye, West Virginia 24924 or by emailing Sherry Radcliff at sradcliff@k12.wv.us or calling 304-799-5017.
ESCOs that are interested in being considered must submit a Proposal in response to this RFP on or before 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2021.
The County will conduct a mandatory pre-proposal conference Friday, July 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. starting at the Green Bank Elementary/Middle School, 5917 Potomac Highlands Trail, Green Bank WV 24944; then traveling to Marlinton Middle School at 1 Copperhead Way Buckeye, WV 24924.
Proposals will be accepted only from contractors represented at the pre-proposal conference.
The successful ESCO will be determined solely from the Proposals. However, the Pocahontas County Board of Education reserves the right to interview all of the candidates if it so chooses.
An original and two copies of the proposal are required. To prevent opening by unauthorized individuals, your submittal should be identified on the envelope as follows:
