Notice is hereby given that the following foreign will or affidavit of heirs has been filed in the Pocahontas County Clerk’s Office at 900 Tenth Avenue Suite C; P. O. Box 209, Marlinton, WV 24954-0209.
An interested person(s) objecting to the filing of the foreign will or affidavit or objecting to the absence of appointment or administration being made in this state must file a statement with the Pocahontas County Commission through the County Clerk’s Office at the address listed above within 60 days after the date of first publication or 30 days of service of the notice, whichever is later. If an objection is not timely filed, the objection is forever barred. The Pocahontas County Commission, upon receiving any timely objection thereto, shall schedule a hearing or hearings thereon and order relief, if any, it considers proper including, but not limited to, an order directing that full and complete ancillary administration of the estate of the nonresident decedent be made in this state.

Notice is hereby given that, under authority of a certain deed of trust hereinafter described, the undersigned Substitute Trustee will, at the front door of the Pocahontas County Courthouse, in Marlinton, West Virginia, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., offer for sale certain property described in that certain deed of trust executed by TREVE PAINTER and ELIZABETH PAINTER to Michael C. This conveyance is made subject to any and all reservations, restrictions, exceptions, rights-of-way and easements as set forth in prior instruments of record in the chain of title to said real estate.
The above-described property will be sold subject to all reservations, restrictions, exceptions and conditions contained in all prior deeds conveying said real estate except those pertaining to race, color or creed, and subject to all unpaid levies and assessments including real estate taxes.
TERMS OF SALE: Cash in hand on day of sale, or ten percent (10% down), or approved line of credit with closing to occur within thirty (30) days. Purchaser accepts subject real estate “AS IS”.

WIC Public Hearing Notice
The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, Bureau for Public Health, Office of Nutrition Services, Women, Infants and Children’s (WIC) Program is seeking public comment on its 2024 State Plan, in accordance with Federal Regulations 246.4 (23) (b). The plan outlines the program’s goals, priorities and objectives for the upcoming fiscal year.
A public hearing will be held to receive public comment on the plan on Friday, August 11, 2023, in Room 507 at 350 Capitol Street, Charleston, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
A copy of the State Plan may be viewed on the Office of Nutrition Services website at https://dhhr.wv.gov/WIC/policyprocedure/ Pages/default.aspx
Written comments about the plan may be sent to: WV WIC Program, Room 515, 350 Capitol Street, Charleston, WV 25301-3717, Attention: Public Comment.
