Lawson L. Cassell, age 86, of Canterbury, Connecticut, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 17, 2018.
Born August 5, 1931, in Cass, he was a son of the late Jesse T. and Gladys Sheets Cassell.
Lawson was born and raised in West Virginia. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Air Force as a Military Police. He worked at Federal Paper Board and retired after 31 years. He loved hunting, fishing and being with his family.
On September 5, 1960, he married Belva Sturgill Cassell, who survives.
