In an a exciting see-saw battle Thursday evening in Dunmore, the PCHS Lady Warriors fell to the Lady Mavericks from James Monroe, 4-2. The Lady Warriors scored first at 31:37 with a beautiful kick by talented striker Brittany McMillion. The Lady Mavs evened it up a few minutes later, but the Lady Warriors regained the lead at 25:16 on a nice drive and kick by Kayleigh Arbogast. But the Lady Mavs responded at 19:08 with a goal to tie the match at 2-2, where it remained for the reminder of the half. In the second half, James Monroe drew first blood at 27:22 to take a 3-2 lead. The Lady Warriors kept the pressure on and had some chances, but could not find the net in the second half. The Lady Mavs put the match in the bag with a goal with a minute remaining and took home a 4-2 victory.
