Glenda Katherine Tumblin Shinaberry, age 85, of Marlinton, died Friday, February 16, 2018, at Augusta Nursing and Rehab Center in Fishersville, Virginia.
Born April 11, 1932, at Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Viola Doyle Tumblin.
Katherine was a homemaker and a member of Campbelltown United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Taylor “Sonny” Shinaberry, Jr.; sister, Doris Long; and a granddaughter, Lisa Raye Warren.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda L. Warren, and husband, Ray, of Manteo, North Carolina; grandchildren, Brian Warren, and wife, Jennifer, and Lori Ange, and husband, Robert; and great-grandsons, Ethan Asher Warren, J.T. Outland and Joshua Outland.
Graveside service was held February 20 at Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton with Pastor David Merryman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hamlin Chapel (Old Log Church).
