Jane Kay Kirk, 80, of Florence, South Carolina, died peacefully Sunday, June 18, 2023. Born in Marlinton, March 14, 1943, she was the daughter of the late James and Isabelle Michael.
At Jane’s request, there will be no formal service.
Her body will be committed to the Earth at 11 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2023, at Kings Mountain Preserve, 321 Indian Springs Road, Blacksburg, South Carolina. If attending, please wear casual clothing and sturdy flat heeled shoes as KMP is a land trust protected forest preserve.
In memory of Jane’s lifelong love of animals and in lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate that donations be made in her name to any animal shelter or animal welfare organization of your choosing.
