A memorial and dedication service will be held Thursday, July 6, at 4 p.m. at McClintic Library.
Through the efforts of Janice Hatfield, a flower and herb garden was established last year at the entrance to the library, and a bench was placed there in Montogomery’s memory.
Noted stone master Kevin Stitzinger has added one of his creations, which will hold a plaque to top off the memorial.
Hatfield will speak at the dedication and others are invited to share memories, as well.
The event is open to the public.
