Herman Thomas Taylor, age 76, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, May 16, 2015, at his home.
Born January 14, 1939, at Renick, he was a son of the late Emery and Luna Rehm Taylor.
Herman was a retired paver operator.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Starks Taylor; a daughter, Sherrie Bumgarner, of Hillsboro; a son, Herman Thomas Taylor, Jr., of Hillsboro; a brother, Robert Taylor, of Hillsboro; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 30, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church on Droop Mountain.
Arrangements are being handled by VanReenen Funeral Home.
