Harold Eugene Lambert, age 80, of Bartow, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at his home.
Born November 7, 1935, in Pendleton County, he was a son of the late Chester and Leafie Bennett Lambert.
Harold was a member of the Cherry Grove Baptist Church and was a machinist for Cass Scenic Railroad State Park.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Virginia Lantz and Catherine Fenstermaker; and two brothers, Glen Lambert and Harlan Lambert.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth Ann Brown Lambert; daughters, Donna Ruth Lambert, and husband, Paul “Pudge,” of Durbin, and Judy Kaye Norton, and husband, Mark, of Wilmington, North Carolina; sons, Harold Eugene “Gene” Lambert, and wife, Susan, of Elk Mountain, and Jim E. “Eddie” Lambert, and wife, Valerie H., of Durbin; a special nephew, John Lambert, and wife, Evelyn; sisters, Sylvia Mullenax, husband Arthur “Bud,” of Durbin, Bronda Vandevander, of Arbovale, Barbara Riggleman, and husband, Bob, of Fairborne, Ohio, and Helen Taylor, and husband, Delmar, of Mill Creek; grandchildren, Clinton Morris, Molly Morris, Christopher Lambert, and wife, Melissa, Kimberly Wimer, and husband, Denny, Tabatha Norton, Dustin Lambert, Dervin Lambert, Delton Lambert and Dayla Lambert; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was February 13 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Pastor Ted Bennett officiating. Interment was in the Arbovale Cemetery.
