Franklin W. Madison, 83, of Summersville, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025.
Born January 12, 1942, in Clarksburg, he was a son of the late Virginia Lovell and Richard Madison.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Triplett and Sherry Akers; and four brothers, Gail Madison, Robert Madison, Jimmy Madison and Richard Madison.
He is survived by brothers, Tom Madison (Sara), Roger Madison (Pat), John Madison (Judy), Shelby Madison (Denise) and Doug VanReenen (Connie); step son, Paul Tidewell; several nieces and nephews, seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025, at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor Peter Shaffer officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service.
