Francis Maynard “Butch” Sutton, age 68, of Arbovale, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at his home.
Born April 27, 1947, at Edray, he was a son of the late Edison Earl and Monna Bell Long Sutton.
Butch was a retired coal miner. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Glenda Sharp, Shirley Sharp, Phyllis Sutton and Roberta Lacy; and a brother, Robert Sutton.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Carter-Sutton, of Arbovale; a son, Gregory Allen Sutton, and wife, Tara, and their son, Scotty, of Birch River; a step-daughter, Mary Ann Cluff and her children, Hunter, Sierra and Taylor, all of Martinsburg; sisters, Barbara Mann, and husband, Ray, of Huntersville, Billie Jean Beverage, and husband, Keith, of Green Bank, Cathy Vandevander, and husband, Ray, of Arbovale, and Jennifer McCarty, and husband, Rick, of Minnehaha; and brothers, Edward Sutton, and wife, Jean, of Marlinton, and Patrick Sutton, of Scott Depot.
Funeral service was October 24 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Pastor Julian Rittenhouse officiating. Interment was in Walker Memorial Cemetery in Summersville.
