The West Virginia Sports Writers Association has announced its selection of players for the 2016 All State Class A Football Team.
Among those receiving recognition for their skill on the gridiron are four Pocahontas County High School Warriors.
Senior offensive lineman/defensive tackle Danny Kimble was named to the First Team; with senior quarterback and free safety Wyatt Workman receiving Special Honorable Mention.
Junior guard/linebacker Mark Jordan and senior defensive end and center Brady Jones each gained Honorable Mention status.
“This is a great honor and accomplishment for these guys,” Head Coach Doug Burns said. “These four players exemplify what it means to be an All-State player. They all have worked extremely hard and are very deserving of this award.”
