Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Marlinton Post 4595 Quartermaster Barry Sharp presents a Savage hunting rifle with scope to Darrell Paugh, of Elkins. Paugh’s name was selected as the winner of the VFW gun raffle during the veterans’ dinner at the Pocahontas County Opera House on November 11. The local VFW post will use raffle proceeds to support veteran programs in Pocahontas County, including transport assistance to medical appointments. Post 4595 donated $100 of the raffle proceeds to the Pocahontas County Veterans Honor Corps.
