Edna Mae Irvine, age 88, of Marlinton, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Pocahontas Center in Marlinton.
Born September 24, 1930, at Clover Lick, she was a daughter of the late Bedford and Drucilla Zane Grimes Shinaberry.
Edna was of the Methodist faith. She was a cook for a restaurant in Richwood.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Arlie Shinaberry, Alvie Shinaberry and Carlin Shinaberry; two sisters, Elsie Irvine and Gray Dilley; and a grandson, Micheal Dunbrack.
She is survived by four daughters, Linda Kesterson, and husband, George, of Florence, South Carolina, Sandra Carroll, of Farmville, Virginia, Ardel Lovelace, and husband, Don, of Huntersville, and Connie Rose, of Georgia; a son, Fane Irvine, and wife, Sandy, of Marlinton; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Eva Reinard, of New York; and three brothers, Gay Shinaberry, of Pennsylvania, Arnold Shinaberry, of Clover Lick, and Sterl Shinaberry, of Florida.
Funeral service was held April 29 at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Pastor Phillip Thompson officiating. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton.
