Edith Walton Arbogast, 85, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, August 4, 2025, at Pocahontas Center in Marlinton.

Born September 30, 1939, in Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Opal Dean Walton.

Edith was a Baptist by faith, and a home health aide for the Pocahontas Memorial Hospital.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Arbogast; son, Ricky Dulaney; sister, Linda Hise; and brother, Floyd Walton.

Survivors include daughters, Terri Sharp, of Hillsboro, and Tammy Westerhausen, of Clarksburg; son, Randy Dulaney, of Woodrow; grandchildren, Austin Hutchison, Dustin Hutchison, Faith Edwards and Jesse Dulaney; great-grandchildren, Oakley Dulaney, Ashdyn Edwards and Zaylia Edwards; sister, Brenda Birchfield, of Marlinton; brothers, Wilburn Walton and Darrell Walton, both of Hillsboro, Dwight Walton, of Bath County, Virginia, Mark Walton, of Dunmore, and Imondale Walton, of Union, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Pastor John Paul Burks officiating. Burial will follow in Emmanuel Cemetery at Bruffey Creek.
