Earl Kalup “Pete” Oxier, age 80, of Durbin, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014, at his home.
Born January 7, 1934, at Cass, he was a son of the late Everett Oxier and Pearl Elizabeth Friel Cassell; and step-father, Jessie Cassell.
Mr. Oxier was a laborer, having retired from Howes Leather Company.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Oxier; three daughters, Tammy Jean Oxier, and companion, Norman Vance, and Anna Marie Kane, and husband, Mark, all of Durbin, and Connie Lynn Greulick, and husband, Robert, of Frank; a son, Earl Lee Oxier, and fiancée, Jessica Sharp, of Durbin; four grandchildren, Shawnee Morgan, and husband, Rick, Tommy Lee Greulick, Marka Kane and Hallie Kane; one great-granddaughter, Erika Morgan; sisters, June Lovelace Crews, and husband, Wayne, of Grafton, and Jackie Cassell, of Chicago, Illinois; half-brother, Lawson Cassell, of Cantersburg, Connecticut; and a step-brother-in-law, Rickey Barkley, and wife, Cindy, and their son, Ricky Lynn.
Per his wishes, the body was cremated. Memorial service was December 31 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Pastor David Rittenhouse officiating.
