Donald Woodrow “Chick” Lambert, age 85, of Arbovale, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital in Buckeye.
Born December 28, 1932, at Frank, he was a son of the late Uxter and Mary Elizabeth White Lambert. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Chick was a retired machinist in fabrication for General Electric.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Madge Harris, Sylvia Simmons, Elsie Lambert, Shirley Nelson, Jeannie Sawyer, Connie Taylor and Dreama Jackson; and brothers, Harold Lambert, Jack Lambert, Ray Lambert and Lonnie Lambert.
He is survived by a daughter, Beth Woodall, and husband, Rick, of Avondale, Pennsylvania; a son, Lannes Lambert, and wife, Rhonda, of Sarasota, Florida; three grandchildren, Ryan Lambert, and Rachael, Kaylee Luhta, and Brad, and Brynn Dixon, and Mathew; and four great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Thursday, August 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale. Funeral service will be held Friday, August 24, 11 a.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home with Pastor David Rittenhouse officiating. Interment will be in the Arbovale Cemetery.
