The holidays will be happier for Pocahontas County families, thanks to a generous donation from Dominion Virginia Power. On Monday afternoon, the company donated $5,000 to the Pocahontas County Family Resource Network (FRN) food pantry, which provides food assistance to households in need. FRN Director Laura Young said the donation came at a critical time, when donations to the pantry are down because of a relief effort for local fire victims.
