Pastor David Harold McCall, 77, of Marlinton, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, February 6, 2026, at his home.
Born August 9, 1948, in Summers County, he was a son of the late Tennie Harold and Wanda Madalene Martin McCall.
David was the Pastor at Cooktown Community Church. In his early years, he was a logger, a bus driver for Snowshoe Resort, and worked at the Tannery.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Schoolcraft McCall, in 2019; and sister, Drema M. Tinney.
He is survived by three sons, Daniel McLaughlin, and wife, Bonnie, of Droop, Douglas Matthew McCall and David Tennie McCall, both of Marlinton; two grandchildren, Amanda McLaughlin and Vanessa Lail; four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy M. McCall, Linda K. Burgess, and husband, Randall, and Kathy McCall; and a brother, Joe McCall, all of Marlinton.
Funeral service was held Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Robert Cutlip officiating. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.
