Connie Jeanne Mullenax Douglas, 75, of Frank, passed from this life Friday, June 7, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Born Sunday, March 13, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Crystal Mullenax.
On March 2, 1974, she married Michael Douglas who survives. They had celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Connie was a homemaker and an accomplished poet; having had two books published.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, James Michael Cassell; and brother-in-law, Ray Hess.
She is survived by her three children, James “Richie” Cassell, and companion, Abby, Crissy Lambert, and Traci Beckner, and husband, David Beckner; foster daughter, Ella Woodhouse; brother, Michael Mullenax; sisters, Sonya Hess and Kelly Sager, and husband, Mike; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Calvary Gospel Church in Durbin Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 2 p.m.
