Boyd Hull “Coonie” Wright, age 82, of Durbin, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014, at his home.
Born September 19, 1932, at Durbin, he was a son of the late Asa Harold and Amanda Alice Collins Wright.
Coonie was a member of the Pine Grove Church of the Brethren and a retired machinist with the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Green Bank.
He is survived by his wife, Daisy Lee Rexrode Wright; three sons, Bill Wright, of Bruceton Mills, Clarence Wight, and wife, Debbie, and Todd Wright, and wife, Tammy, all of Durbin; five grandchildren, Sandra Sisler, and husband, Larry, Amanda Wright, and companion, Bryan, David Wright, and wife, Jannesa, Darrell Wright, and wife, Jackie, and Adam Wright; and three great-grandchildren, Amber Sisler, Hailey Pugh and Braxton Pugh.
Funeral service was December 20 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home with Revs. David Rittenhouse and Julian Rittenhouse officiating. Interment was in the Arbovale Cemetery.
