Betty Marie Lea Hickman Blake Beck, 77, of Verona, Virginia, died Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
Born December 30, 1946, at Bedford, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Albert Sidney and Mary Frances Oscar Evans Hickman.
Betty was a restaurant employee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Blake Bennett; husbands, William Jacob Billy Blake and Michael Joseph Beck; sisters, Lucy Persinger, Mamie Oscar; half-sister, Amanda Jane Pennington; brothers, John, James and Samuel Hickman; and half-brothers, Thomas and Herman Oscar and Cecil and Dick Hickman.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Blake Propst, Donna Beck Pulliam; sons, David and William Blake; sisters, Lennie Sowers, Bertie Chandler, Nadine Hickman; half-sisters, Dor-othy Hickman, Virginia Barnett, Rosie Middleton, Mary Brooks, Frances Galford, Martha Thompson, Rebecca Schepleng; brother, Charlie Hickman; half-brothers, Albert Hickman, Wilson Oscar, John, Kenneth, Leroy and Edgar Evans; granddaughter, Sara Bennett Lofton; grandsons, Gregory Blake, Dustin Propst, Joshua Bennett; great-grandchildren, Kylee, Jonathan, Judson, Mary, Navy, Jessie, Joshua and Bethany.
Funeral service was held Saturday, September 7, 2024 at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Scott officiating.
Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.
