Baysel John Ryder, age 92, of Marlinton, died Thursday, December 25, 2014, at White Sulphur Springs Center in White Sulphur.
Born December 5, 1922, at Neloa, he was a son of the late Floyd and Ella Smith Ryder.
Baysel was a retired logger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Terry Wayne May; brothers, Arick, Virgil and Vinson; and a sister, Gladys Ray Huff.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Hefner Ryder; daughters, Mildred Carol Landis, of Daily and Patricia Farmer, and husband, Chuck, of Salem, Virginia; a son, Benny Ryder, and wife, Rhonda, of Elliston, Virginia; five grandchildren, Truman Farmer, Jennifer Landis, Brandy Simmons, Kenlie Ryder and Alexis Ryder; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, neph-ews and many friends.
Funeral service was December 27 at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor Robert McClintic officiating. Interment was in the Beaver Creek Cemetery in Huntersville.
