Autumn Harvest County Fair Exhibit rules

All exhibits must be registered for competition at the Snowshoe Career Center at the corner of Main Street and Second Avenue, between 1 and 5 p.m. Friday, September 26.

All exhibits will be recorded and tagged by volunteers

All categories are open to any adult or youth who desires to enter exhibits.

Exhibit categories are:

·         Baked Goods

·         Woodworking

·         Canned Foods

·         Vegetables and Fruit

·         Needlework

·         Flower Arrangements

·         Quilts Craft Items

·         Photography

·         Paintings

Items should be recent projects/creations that have not been previously exhibited.

All baked goods must be exhibited on plain white paper plates, covered with clear plastic bags.

Recommendations for baked good:

·         Breads: ½ loaf

·         Muffins: 3

·         Biscuits: 3

·         Rolls: 3

·         Cookies: 3

·         Candy: 4 pieces

·         Cakes: 2 slices

·         Pies: 2 slices

Fair committee cannot be liable or responsible for loss, theft, or casualty to exhibits.

All fair items will be judged prior to public viewing. The public will not be allowed in the snowshoe Career Center during judging.

Exhibits will be open for public viewing beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, September 27, during the Autumn Harvest Festival.

Entries need to be picked up between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Saturday, September 27.
