Anna Lee Tracy, age 87, of Pine Grove Road, Arbovale, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015.
Born September 25, 1927, at Bartow, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Marcella Calhoun Vandevender.
Anna was retired from Hanover Shoe Company and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Pine Grove Church of the Brethren and sang in the church choir.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Ordell Tracy; sisters, Christine Vandevender, Cathy Beverage, Helen Ward and Mary Shinaberry; and brothers, Stanley Vandevender, Harry Vandevender, Lake Vandevender, Gerald Vandevender, Arthur “Sonny” Vandevender and John Aston Vandevender.
She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Jean Mick, and husband, Kenneth, of Durbin; three sons, Marshall W. Tracy, and wife, Betty, of Arbovale, Allen E. Tracy, and wife, Patty, of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and Donald “Bucky” Tracy, of Arbovale; three sisters, Rebecca Moses, of Beverly, Frances Barnett, of Cass, and Sylvia Mitchell, of Alabama; three brothers, Arnold Vandevender, of Monterey, Virginia, William Vandevender, of Florida, and Ray Vandevender, of Arbovale; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was September 11 at the Pine Grove Church of the Brethren with Pastors Julian Rittenhouse and David Rittenhouse officiating. Interment was in the Arbovale Cemetery.
