Allen Ray Parsons, age 71, of Beaver Creek Road, lost his fight with cancer Monday, August 24, 2015, at Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem, Virginia, with his family by his side.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home. Funeral service is Thursday, August 27, 6 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home with Norman Lee Alderman officiating. Burial with Military Honors by the Pocahontas County Veterans Honor Corps will be in the Beaver Creek Cemetery.
