Alice Ervine Miller, 92, of Elkins, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025, due to an injury sustained in a fall at her home.
Born October 26, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Donald C. and Vesta Belle Calhoun Ervine.
Alice was a graduate of Green Bank High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack G. Miller; three sisters, Marie Crawford, Mildred Raines and Lucille Sheets; and five brothers, Clarence, Guy, Jack, Dewey and Alfred Ervine.
She is survived by her daughter, Diana Miller Morrison, and husband, Douglas G. Morrison, of Centre Hall, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Dr. Michael Morrison, and wife, Michelle, of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, and Dr. Sommer Garman, and husband, Matthew, of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania; six great-grandchildren, Mason, Marlee, Montana and Morgan Morrison, and Brooklyn and Mackenzie Garman; and several nieces and nephews.
Alice loved spending time with her family.
Alice was Christian by faith. She and her husband, Jack, were instrumental in the start-up of the Full Gospel Business Fellowship in Elkins. She was a very caring wife, mother and Mimi. She loved to sing and could be found singing at local care homes over the years. She had a talent for decorating and floral arranging and shared that talent with friends and family. We will all miss her.
Funeral service was held Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Pastor David Rittenhouse officiating.
Burial was in Arbovale Cemetery.
