THIS PHOTO OF Rose and her cubs, Bud and Petals, was taken when the cubs were 40 days old. Their eyes are open and they are growing and changing every day. Joel Rosenthal operates Point of View Farm, a non-profit organization that rehabilitates injured and/or orphaned animals. Rose came to him five years ago as an orphan cub, and she has returned every winter to her enclosure at the farm. This is the second time Rose has given birth.
